Amber “Ambs” Welch is an artist & graphic designer living and working in Kansas City, MO. Previously from Oklahoma, they pursued a BFA in Graphic Design at the Kansas City Art Institute, graduating in the spring of 2023.
Ambs focuses heavily on lived experience and memory within their personal practice—utilizing the past to contextualize and process the present and future. Play is also an important aspect in her work, as it allows viewers to tap in to their inner child and experience design and the world in new, exciting ways.
