Manheim Park Neighborhood Banner

In collaboration with David Svet’s sponsored studio class at KCAI, I lent my hand in designing multiple iterations of banners for Manheim Park’s neighborhood association.

Working from a photo of a physical document, I recreated the neighborhood’s previous logo in a vectorized format. I then changed the color from

a light red to this leaf green, meant to represent the Manheim Gardens — a cornerstone of this quaint midtown neighborhood. To further embody the community garden at the heart of the neighborhood, I added a flourish at the top of the design, referencing the lion’s tail & adding in leaves representing the gardens’ foliage.
