Renaissance Place Neighborhood Logos & Banner

In collaboration with David Svet’s sponsored studio class at KCAI, I set out to create a new logo and banner design for Renaissance Place, a small neighborhood just east of I-70 and south of 18th st.

Referencing the retaining wall that surrounds the neighborhood, I recreated the pre-existing “R” logo and created modified text to match the style found on the wall. In additon to this, I also created stone-like shapes in the background of the banner design, referencing the stacked stones which comprise the length of the retaining wall.
